To increase visitors, The Guggenheim hired DMD to help conceptualize, design, and produce print, television, and out-of-home advertising campaigns for their special exhibits. Over this continuing ten-year partnership, DMD has helped increase museum attendance (with a 17 percent jump in tourism traffic). Our broadcast work for The Guggenheim's exhibits, including our most recent, “Richard Prince: Spiritual America,” reached out to target audiences and encouraged them to attend the exhibits by focusing on the iconic photography and art on display.
Precision in design, execution, and reach was a crucial mix for Merrill Lynch's brand extension for high net worth individuals. Our creative team developed the logo and brand system -- one that works across online, print, and broadcast. The simple, colorful graphic represents the company’s powerful service offering yet retains the legacy and reputation of the parent brand. DMD also created an online demonstration and broadcast animation of Total Merrill's services, providing an interactive, informational experience that brought the breadth of the service offering to life. We also created a distinct, intuitive website to service the increasing percentage of online visitors. The site showcased the new identity while allowing users to easily explore the complete service offering.
CoreNet Global, a real-estate trade organization, hired DMD to create a consistent brand for their international summits. The challenge: keeping the CoreNet Global mark prominent while applying a flexible, illustrated feel for each conference. DMD created a new visual theme for each CoreNet summit, paying close attention to cultural sensitivities, and worked with vendors around the world to secure efficient and cost-productive production. DMD's designs are combined with targeted copy and sent to CoreNet members in both direct mail and eBlast format, helping to increase early bird signups, and total attendance. At the summits, consistent signage, print materials, and video animations create a satisfying event for all attendees.
CenterCare Health Plan came to DMD with the goal of becoming one of the top providers of health insurance in the New York City market. Working together, we created a long-life multi-cultural public relations and ad campaign that spoke to New York's Hispanic, Asian, African American, and Russian communities. All advertising and marketing materials were made available in multiple languages and visually reflected the values and cultures of each community. In year two, we introduced a new “Listen to your Heart” campaign, highlighting an emotional connection between CenterCare health providers and their patients. DMD's campaign activities contributed to an increase in membership of 44 percent, an unprecedented success.
The new branding for Angelo, Gordon & Co., a premier alternative asset management firm, was designed by DMD to reflect the integrity, growth, and forward-thinking vision that they extend to their clients. To bring the new brand to life, DMD partnered with the AG management team to overhaul and redeploy their internet presence. Through intuitive structure and organization, the new site efficiently serves clients with both a public site and a password-protected client site. The website not only functions seamlessly but is also designed to convey the vitality and personality of the firm through clean and elegant design, candid photography, and the use of flash animation that supports the new brand.
gomobo.com is New York City’s first text message-based food ordering service. DMD secured large feature stories in the Wall Street Journal and on ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN’s American Morning, Fox News Now, and over 30 regional and local media markets across the US and Canada. Additional local New York segments appeared on WNBC’s Today in New York, in Metro, and in AM New York’s dining sections. DMD also placed Mobo on major blogs including Gothamist, NY Magazine’s food blog (Grub Street), Gridskipper, and NewYorkOlogy.
