Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs is as a tool for businesses (check out the link to see some of the criticisms in other contexts, some of which I agree with).
Chip Conley's book takes three audiences, - employees, customers and investors, and applies the Hierarchy of Needs not just to understand how best to approach more than just the basic needs of each group, but how to provide truly transformative experiences for them. At times the book teeters towards the hyperbolic and slightly manic, but I was truly impacted by the overall message and found many of the examples for creating truly peak experiences in an organization very compelling.
It is also making me reread Maslow.
