The end is nigh. And while blood may not flood the streets and no one will witness the four horsemen galloping around the corner of 57th and Park, things are about to change. A quick click over to YouTube to see how that video you made is performing, or a stopover to blog on Blogger in between meetings will become a thing of the past. But is that a good thing?

Toy company Hasbro is under attack. Hundreds of thousands of malicious emails. Vicious, stinging blog posts. Vitriolic hell-bent hackers. Yes, the company known for its fun family games and entertainments is being beaten down worse than a Whack-A-Mole. And it's all because of... Scrabble?

Rowland, the CEO of DMD is a loyal fan of Twitter, the microblogging site. Turns out it isn't just him, but millions of other microbloggers, too. Despite constant server outages and bad press due to said outages. It makes you think: There's Something About Twitter...

Super Bowl Sunday seemed like a victory, but it was more of a tragedy. Sure my town's team won... yeah! ::chugs beer, crushes can on head:: But there were far more losers than winners in this contest. The biggest losers? (and not the reality show)...

This little thing might change everything
How often do I hear on the street "Hey! Newspapers are dead! Magazines are finished! Kaput to the printed word and all advertisements that go along with it!"? Hearing this fills me with rage. Yes. Print is dead. Right. So why do I work in integrated marketing? That's when I tell the coffee cart guy on the corner to just give me my bearclaw and keep his opinions on media to himself.
But wait! Hold the phones. Is print really dead? Or is it a gateway to a NEW DIMENSION? I'm not high off my bearclaw, I'm just excited. What am I talking about? Let's just say it starts with Google...

I first learned of the band
The Arcade Fire through my former college roommate and co-DJ. I would play bubble gum pop like N*Sync and pre-tragedy Britney (hey, it got us skyhigh Allentown ratings!) and Aaron would play indy music I had never, ever heard of. Well, I haven't thought of the Fire in some time, but, because of their web genius, they are suddenly on my radar once more...

I was extremely late in getting on the MySpace bandwagon. My friends descended upon the growing social network in troves. Adding photos, leaving comments, and telling me all the fun I was missing out on. Finally I relented (not for any reason but to gain access to friends' photos). How smart of MySpace to force you to create a profile in order to see those of others!
But I never liked MySpace...
